New to me Rx-8
Hi all,
Just acquired an 04 GT with around 100k. I own an 88 Rx-7 vert and my father owns two 40th anniversary ed which have seen their share of attention. The car is black and came with a lot of aftermarket parts although the engine is junk. Luckily, theres a freshly rebuilt engine from Rotary Resurrection in the garage! The previous owners kind of obliterated the engine bay as they pulled the engine to get it evaluated. Several things were removed unnecessarily and filled the entire car with parts. Already started work on reassembling the long block and purchasing necessary parts. For the price of the rebuild, parts, and chassis we could come out with an 8 for under 6k. But, a lot of cosmetic work needed as the paint is in horrible condition from the wrap that was on it/the quality of the job. Really excited to put this thing back together and get it on the road!
