NZ New Memeber

Sooo... I'm 6 days into owning my 2005 Type-S (Thinking of taking her on a date tomorrow for our 1 week anniversary). She's done 86,000km/53,437Miles, in metallic Gun Metal grey with BC Gold adjusties, full racing pipes and topped off by 7 Spoke gloss black 18/8 rims on 255/45's all round (Pics to follow). Paid NZD$18,300 for her and I'm the 1st NZ Owner, she was only imported last month.

For all those wondering, "Why on God's green earth would you buy an 04'/05' model? They have so many issues?!?"

After thoroughly reading through this site, speaking with my local Mazda dealer and of course doing a little bit of research on the Renesis-MSP 13b myself. I found that there really isn't any extra issues with this engine, than there is with the newer models (If taken care of properly and diligently). Seems like people have just forgotten that older engines, be it a couple of years, just need a little bit more TLC.

If anyone has any advice for a young RX-8 owner, feel free to throw something at me via this thread.
