Everyone, i know, trust me i know how sad i feel about selling the car, but i have to for several reasons:
1. Family debts, fathers bad health - needs money
2. Our city few months back had an earthquake. The building needs renovation - needs money
3. The car looks okay, but it's not just the engine. Gearbox is wearing out, there is hail and rust spots and clear coat falling off. - needs money
4. I don't have a garage, or a workshop, or a driveway. My car i parked on a small shared parking spot, right were currently is a giant building being built
So always dusty, always risk of damage to the car. And no, i don't have friends willing to help work on my car. - needs money
So in the end it's not just A LOT of money, but availability and probability of finding parts, a garage or drive way.
Not to mention i have a girlfriend which also drains a lot of money, but at least is making me happier than the RX8.
In the end, i am 24 years old. Not ideal that my first car is a sports car with a thirsty engine. I had my fun and if in the future will want one again,
i can buy any rotary car, not just an RX8.

The RX8 is a fantastic car but next time opt for a compression test before purchase. Hope you can have a better experience next time you own one. As far as price, you wont get a lot for it unfortunately. Your asking price of 4k Euros is optimistic considering the insane cost of these engines and the low monetary value of these cars due to depreciation. Rough situation, I wish you all the best and better luck on your next rotary car.

Sorry, I can not help myself but note just how come you bought a terrible car with a grenaded engine despite being surrounded by "rotary mechanics"?? Having a 3 rotor turbo would make you think the owner knows the slightest about compression.
Then you started pumping money and fixes into it untill the engine died. So it lasted you some 4000km more then it failed totally and now you want to sell it for 4000E ?! That thing sadly has less than 1000E value in Europe. There is a rolling shell of an RX8 in my country that I can buy for 800E, or any RHD car for less than 400E.
Ok, let's say it was like this because you had no ideea what an RX8 asks of from its owner, even though the internet is full of horror stories about and with the rx8. If you do come later down the road wanting an RX8, be sure to buy one with good compression(read: over 7 bar). After that you have 2 options: have a big pile of cash ready to burn in a dealership service, OR have the space, time, tools and knowledge to fix your car on your own. 2nd version is 1/10 of the cost of the first and x10 the quality, provided you know how to turn a wrench.
