New Rx8 Owner from Minnesota

Hello,

My name is Nick. I am located in Minnesota. I am in my last year of law school and will be taking the BAR July 2016.

I recently purchased a 2004 Rx8. I am not new to rotaries as I've owned a handful of 2nd Gen Rx7s and a couple of 3rd Gens. I am in the process of building my 20B Rx7. I will likely just get this Rx8 cleaned up and engine refreshed.

Looking forward to meet new members on here. For those of you here that are on Rx7club.com as well, my username is Broke_A_Baller.

Only pic I have right now
6spd
2004 (has black leather interior, navigation, etc.).

Thanks for your time,

Nick

Welcome to the forum, Nick! Congrats on you purchase, it looks beautiful. There are lots of great choices for parts, service and many owners willing to help you. If you ever have any questions, there's definitely a great team of owners and vendors that are happy to help.

Cut an weld . No ghetto bondo in this house .

Either my cousin will or a younger friend of mine who is doing body panels in his auto body school this year.

I'll need to remove the little shield junk in the wheel wells and side lip to see how bad it is.

Hey,

Thanks! I do miss living in Texas. Cars are cleaner, cars are meaner, girls are...

Anyways, I hope to get this engine pulled and rotors shipped out to Chip to get lightened, reworked, scalloped, and balanced.

Is there a dedicated build thread in this forum? I haven't been able to locate it as easily as on 7 club...

Thanks again for the welcome everyone!

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY I CANNOT CREATE A NEW THREAD?!?!?!

I'm rebuilding my renesis and need to know what ecu or flash is appropriate for the following:

Rotors cut to fit FD seals,
Rotors lightened and race balanced,
Ported irons (racing beat template),
Upgraded water pump,
upgraded header,
header back exhaust (~3" diameter),
Koyo radiator (not that it matters :p).

I spoke with racing beat and they told me its ECU flash is not going to work...anyone have any input?
