New rx8 owner from NZ

Hey all, I'm a new rx8 owner from New Zealand. Found this site pretty useful for finding out things about the car.
Car is a 04 5 speed. I plan on using it for track days and drifting and the odd burnout comp.
Anyone else here from NZ ??

I'm up in Auckland / Helensville. I try to get to out of town tracks as much as I can, We do have a local skidpad tho (:

Bit of a test slide..

I think I have discovered the dreaded fuel surge problem, would cut out after a few o's. Thanks to this forum have discovered its a common problem!!, Saddle fuel tank design is great for weight distribution but that's about it. I have ordered a fuel pump that can actually keep up with the motor!!!! What a pain getting the fuel tank ring off tho!!! got there in the end.
Will get the car back together soon and go testing!!!
