New RX8 and rotary owner

I just picked up an 04 RX8 with about 10k on a rebuilt motor. It had started running hot driving around in the 100 degree CA heat with the AC on. I just replaced the radiator with an aluminum one that came with fans. I took it for a test drive and it overheated on me. I thought maybe it was the fans and so I installed the stock fans. Still running hot around 220 but I have yet to really drive it in the heat of the day. I thought the new radiator would cool better but for some reason it seems worse.
