New SSV Valve still rattles. Help!!

So I bought a new SSV from Japan. The whole set with the switch included because my old ssv was rattling like crazy. And I still hear that sucker rattle. It’s driving me crazy cause I can’t figure out what else to do.

Did you check the solenoid?

Yup. I checked the Solenoid. It’s perfect. It seems to be the shaft. If I put pressure on the shaft no more noise. But if I let it go it back to its regular tapping sound. The SSV is brand new. Not sure why it could be tapping .

I had assumed you checked the shaft in the original one and only replaced it because the arm was loose on it.

You should do a compression check then. Could be one or more bad rotor side seals.
