"New" used car, cabin smells like fuel
Hello fellow owners!
Bought my 8 a few days ago and noticed a fuel smell in the cabin. So far, here's when I can smell this smelly smell that smells smelly:
Also, I have a P2071 code (Intake Manifold Tuning Valve - Stuck Closed), so I'm guessing that the lack of air is making me run a rich mixture.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

raw fuel or fuel in exhaust smell? do you have a cat? check the connectors and fuel pump ring under the rear drivers seat. more important check the fuel lines under the hood (drv side by the inner fender) its kinda by the master cyl. these connectors arent supposed to be reused and have started fires before. was the engine ever replaced?

The fuel injectors are leaking fuel.
I have an inspection report from both the dealership and the province that says they were good. So I'm pissed to say the least. What are my options?
There's warranty on the car, do I claim warranty?
Do I call the Mazda dealership I got this from and see if they'd pay for the repairs for me?

there wont be a warranty but if dealer said they are good and they are leaking i would call them and not drive it cause it could catch fire

DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR UNLESS YOU WANT A FIRE.
If there is a warranty, you have it towed to the dealership on their dime. You have them repair it on their dime.
The fix should be pretty easy. It’s probably $20 in parts for new o-rings and gaskets. You have to remove the UIM and one or 10 parts underneath.

It's just a bit complicated because they're 400kms away, and car will be brought to a local Mazda dealer.
Thanks for the help guys.
