Hello everyone,
I am glad to see it seems forums are starting to make a comeback!
Little bit about me:
I currently live in Florida and have been here for almost 4 years now. Have been messing with cars for well over 20 years now and love going fast. I currently have an S1 and S2. I just sold my 4G63 powered foxbody mustang about a year ago and ready to build another car to have fun with. I look forward to learning a lot about this chassis and hope to gain the knowledge from those with much more experience than I. I also run a business selling aftermarket and OEM parts for a bunch of chassis'.

welcome, the 8 is a great chassis but its under powered and this forum is pretty dead, and getting worse. just an fyi dont try to promote your business here without a vendor account or the mods will pecker slap ya

I hate to hear that it's dying off because I absolutely hate FB pages.

Yeah, what's up with that? Why is this forum getting so empty these days. Same situation with local forum in Poland. Come on people, let's keep up this fire while it last, there will be no more rotary Mazdas, let's be realistic.

was just letting ya know about the forum rules, not being a dick. dont expect flaming for dumping the oem gearbox, its eggshell fragile and a lot of swaps end up with an fd 5spd

there are no more rotaries and in reality they will be only used as range extenders for ev. the forum is dead because the 8 was pretty much a flop and most are blown up, riced out pos or abandoned projects. cheap to buy now for many reasons

Also another reason the forums aren't as busy as they used to be 10 years ago is that there are many groups on Facebook for the RX-8 and people find it easier and more convenient to post there. Plus they don't have to search for their question, they can just be lazy and ask it. I've been a member and moderator on rx7club.com for a long time...like 18 years...and I've seen a decline in traffic but I have been seeing it come back slowly. Facebook just doesn't have the resources and the library of knowledge the forum has. This forum has a wealth of resources, to include its members, stuck threads, links to diy and repairs. For me, I love the forums, they are my home away from how so to speak and I will continue to contribute to them.

What's been said or asked are no longer new. There's really nothing new that's not yet discovered with the RX8 after all these years. Search and chances are what you're looking for has already been addressed at some point.
