Newb with a couple of questions.

Hey all. I just acquired a 2005 RX8 with a low compression engine with leaky seals, the rest of the car is in great shape. I’m waiting for an engine from RX7 Specialities (exhaust porting, high pressure oil mods and clearanced rotors). I’m replacing the cat with a racing beat midpipe and deleting the air pump and want to replace the water pump for insurance. Does anyone have a pic of the impeller on the OEM replacement pump? And any opinions on various replacements other than the Remedy?
I’m also wondering if anyone has come up with a way to make the dash Temp guauge useable?
Thanks in advance.

just go with oem water pump. the temp gauge is just a dummy gauge and its better to get aftermarket gauges. if ya didnt get one already you should probably buy an aftermarket radiator, the oem one is known to break when taking off the top small hose

Some people unplug the sensor and cover up the idiot light with electrical tape.
