Newbie and need Mechanical advice. any help is appreciated

Hi guys so i bought my 1st RX8 from my friend. when i got it i knew it needed radiator and ac condenser as my friend had hit something. car was not driven without fluid nor did it overheat. it was towed back to his house, where it sat for in his driveway for a little bit and than towed to the shop. so i had them replace the radiator and condenser. the advised me that the car needed a new battery as it was having trouble turning over. they tried a few times. i heard it trying to start but it won't. (i later reaserched an realized that it maybe flooded, this is not a rotary shop, just a general mechanic). so i went to buy another battery and the tech attached the terminals and than he pursued to attach the jump box. as he attached the jump box i heard a sound and saw a poof of smoke. i realized he might of attached them incorrectly, sigh. now the car won't even crank like it did earlier with the old battery. when i try to start it i see the dash lights turn on but thats it. my windows won't even go up or down like it did earlier. upon reading on this forum, i realize and hope it might be the 120a main fuse but i have no idea where it goes or how to replace. i really hope he didn't damage anything else, sigh. i wish i saw the video on how to deflood so i could of at least tried that method with the old battery. now since the car won't even start i can't even attempt that method. guys, what am i to expect now?

The main fuse, along with many others is in the fusebox under the hood. It's on front driver's side of the engine bay.

But, considering the tech caused this issue, why are we even talking about this? Why is the shop not fixing whatever it is they broke?

i opened the fuse box and saw 120a maim fuse on the back cover, but looking at the actual fuse box i can't really see it. the shop said they will look into it for me on monday and try to determine why it is not even cranking. i am assuming myself that is is the 120a fuse. what i want to know is could he have caused damaged to anything else by his mistake? has anyone experienced something similar and the 120a fuse was able to resolve thier problem? or if you did experience something similar what was your resolution? i'm just worried guys. thanks for understanding and helping.

Once you figure out the main fuse issue, I would recommend reading this thread

Oh yeah, the fuse itself is bolted down and invisible. It's in the location where the back cover indicates, but if memory serves, you have to undo 2 bolts in that location to reveal it. With the battery disconnected

so i replaced the 120a fuse and the car still won't start. i believe it is flooded. tried the deflood procedure and no luck (sigh). shop said they will remove plugs and let dry and try again. i want to thank everyone that helped and luis from wankel works in MA who took time out of his busy day to help me answer a few questions.
