UK Newbie from UK needs some project help...

Just joined the club but am an old hand with Rex's after owning RX2's, 3's & 4's (all in Australia) before buying the brilliant RX8-231 in the UK. Yeah, I get around a bit & have lived in S.C. for 3 years too.
The help I'm asking for is around cruise control as all the cars in the UK don't have it as standard. That's my project, to get cruise working for me & my fellow RX8 Owners Club UK members.
History
A flash to the PCM in version 37 electronically turned off the capability to have a functioning cruise control system (in the UK) although the cruise buttons on the steering wheels were never installed from the factory, as cruise was never an option in the UK. Now a fair few of us want to get around this & have this functionality. Mazda UK aren't interested in helping out as the RX-8 is becoming a rare sight for dealerships. My example is that I went into the local dealership for the airbag recall & the service engineer didn't know how to reset the driver's window. They said it was the 1st RX-8 they had seen in years!!!
Progress (so far):
I have purchased a Mazda 6 steering wheel with stereo & cruise buttons & will be fitting it this weekend. It's a cost effective option with those steering wheels being readily available. Will also carry out the two wiring modifications to complete the mechanical part of this project. Others have already purchased & fitted the USA steering wheel pods from the USA dealer network ready for the next stage.
Where we need your help please (the next stage):
We (another RX8OC UK member, who is an embedded electronics engineer) & myself need to get our hands on the 'as built' data from a USA RX-8 PCM that has cruise control working. This will be most of you out there & will help us decipher where the differences are to 'find' the electronic switch, or hexadecimal block, that has been turned off so we can reverse it.
If any of you have, or can get, the 'as built' data electronically & could send me the information that would be a great help to us. Alternatively, if you have a PCM lying around you no longer need & would be willing to send to me in the UK, that would be great too. Costs would be covered & please PM me in the first instance so we can discuss a possible way of doing this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as there are members back home eagerly watching our RX8OC UK thread for any progress & are aware I'm approaching "y'all" on this forum.
Thanks in advance.
Pete

I have the As Built data for my car.

It is a 2004 Canadian Rx8 6 speed.

Let me know if that will work for your needs. I think the big difference between this and the USDM is the TPMS ISN'T on the Canadian model

Thanks dannobre, if this means your Rex has cruise fitted then I would be very interested in your 'as built' data. Excuse my ignorance but have not heard the abbreviations USDM or TPMS before. What do they stand for?

USDM is United States Domestic Market

TPMS is tire pressure monitoring system

Need a liitle more help please guys as the cruise solution in the UK is getting ever closer.
We desperately need the 'as built' data for a USDM, Canadian, or Australian RX-8 that did not have the cruise control option fitted.
If you can provide your VIN number, we can do the rest & get 'as built' data through a Mazda Technician who is working with us.
This will help us confirm if the data we intend to push into our test car's PCM will result in a functional cruise system.
PM the data if you prefer not to 'go public' on the forum with your data.
Thanks in advance guys
