Newish owner could use some advice

So i got the 8 about 6 months ago and have been studying the forum since then. But i could use some advice, so far i have A BHR cat-less mid pipe and coils coming and a SOHN adapter waiting to be installed, what i can't decide on is an AP from mazdamaniac with the custom calibration service. Any advice in this area would be much appreciated.

The advantages of a reflash that can improve the oil injection, lower the fan trigger temps, and optimize your AFRs is something that everyone will agree with.

The AP is only one of the options, and is available only from a vendor that has been banned from the community. Lots of people hate him, lots of people love him. There are also cheaper options available now.

I was just thinking of going with that because i don't really have any experience with tuning.

3 components:
- The hardware
- The flash
- The knowledge to tune

The AP is really just one of those three. It doesn't really matter which solution you go with, you will either have to learn yourself, or pay someone who knows.

I'm not telling you not to go with the AP, but I'm not going to tell you to go with it either. There are pros and cons of every solution, and in the end it's your decision.
