Noise in the rear
I have this god awful drowning noise in the rear of the vehicle it only happens between 40-60.
I personally think its the tires but i haven't had a chance to swap them around to see if the sound goes away. It did get a lot worse when I dropped the air to 37psi. All the tires when I bought the car they were all over 45....
It basically sounds like a suv when you have one window cracked and it makes the stupid woowoowoowoowoo sound.
Anyone ever had their tires cup or rear end go out that can tell me what it sounded like?

Today I decided to change the rear differential fluid just to see where the fluid was at and if it was causing my issues.
Fluid was slightly dirty I'm sure it was original. Changed with valvoline 75-90 synthetic LSD.
Then I decided to take the rear tires off and reverse them. Upon inspection i found passenger tire was wore all kinds of bad on the inside. So found the problem, after swapping to drivers side the noise then moved more to drivers side.
Next step is to find out if my alignment is off or if the problems in my suspension.

Yeah I'm a engines guy. Suspension I leave to my Subaru guy that's his thing. I take all my **** to him over at the Nissan dealership for alignment work. I'll replace my own parts but I don't **** with alignment ha. He told me the other day to check the wheels for cupping.

Recommended tire pressure is 32 psi,
I have no idea why anyone would inflate them to 45psi, that sounds dangerous.
Depending on how long they were like that, I'd say the tires are the problem.
Drop them all to 32 & see what happens.

Must have missed the part where I found the problem lol. Also 32 is a thing of the past really. Even the dealerships now go higher. At Nissan everything is 35-40 no matter what. I keep my tires between 35-37 all the time no matter what. I monitor the pressure pretty frequently.
