Noob here need help figuring out why my gas gauge randomly died

So yesterday I towed my car on a flat bed, the car works perfectly fine except after I took the car down the gas gauge is stucked and won't budge. I'm thinking of putting gas in the if other needle moves or something any recommendations?

Likely the angulation of the flat deck caused the sensor float to stick ...I would add some fuel and drive down a bumpy road and see if it comes unstuck

If it doesn't you will have to remove the covers and figure out which one is stuck as there are floats in both sides of the tank.

If you have to open it up.... run the fuel down to 1/4 tank or even less and you won't be fishing around in the fuel.

The wires for the sensors are really small diameter so be careful with them when you are in there as they can break fairly easily

If you didb't get the fuel ring recall yet, the dealer might unstick it doing it.
