is it normal for an 8 not to pull at the lower RPMs in first gear? (from a stop)

they said the only thing wrong is the plugs when i got a tune up at a different place they put 4 leading plugs in and not the trailing plugs....they are saying nothing about how bad the exhaust smells, it smells like...just...terrible terrible things...is it possible that the actual mazda dealer I went to could have tried to rip me off seeing that I was a young kid? and would fixing the plugs fix that horrible exhaust smell?

Leading and trailing plugs are different for a reason--get the shop to do the plug change the right way and promptly discontinue business there.
The smell could be excess sulfur in your fuel, try switching brands.
And what happened to your compression test? A "tune-up" isn't going to do anything if your engine is toast.

To further elaborate:
There isn't some mis-diagnosis here. The compression test proved that your engine is done, and that you need a new engine. There isn't a magical fix that will suddenly make the situation better outside of an engine replacement.
As long as you act quickly, there are legal options to try to get your money back and/or to get the original selling dealer to cover the engine replacement. It is critical that you act, and act fast.
My gut tells me that you are trying to hope for a better resolution to this, but there won't be one. You are learning a rather valuable lesson, and if you don't dick around with the dealers it's going to be one that you learned with relatively little cost. If you let them push you around or give you bullshit about what is going on with the car, YOU WILL HAVE BOUGHT AN $11,000 PAPERWEIGHT THAT NEEDS $4,000+ MORE TO GET IT WORKING (at a minimum).
Is there any way I can say it more clearly?

30 days crap ends in 3 days...21st...first things first is being civil about it I'm going to just simply ask for my money back. my moms been in las vegas for the past week and its a family friend that we tend to use as our lawyer and my god he's good. next thing after that if they say no is court. would it still be a viable option after the 30 days is up though? with our argument being they sold my a screwed up car and then refused to replace the engine?

im not waiting for anything. I'm not stupid but I can't do something when my parents are outta the state if I don't have the money to do so they've been gone for about 2 weeks now. the dealer called just now and saidddd that he had to write a check for something and it's been in the shop for a few days and we are getting it later..he talked to my mom..probably because the last time he talked to me i degraded him on his professionalism. and she didn't think to ask what the check was for..so we will figure that out when we go see whats up with it.

Offhand, a different car.
If you are dead set on another RX-8, do your research first, spend some time digging into what you need to know ahead of time. Look for a possible 8 here on the FS section of the forum first, more likely to get a good one then, and more likely to get a real history on the car. If you end up getting one outside of the forum, spend time looking for the right one. Do your due diligence on any possible 8s. Don't be afraid to look outside your city/town either, your best options are more likely to be a several hour drive, or even several day drive, away.
