OBD2 tool
Good Afternoon Everyone!
I am curious to if anyone has some good suggestion for an OBd2 tool that works with iPhones? I found one called Automatic, but seems to not give crucial information such as engine temp...
Thanks all!!!

Cool beans.
Well it's simple, you just need a device that states it uses chip ELM 327. Be careful though as there are going to be MANY knockoffs. In this case, don't go for cheap because it will be a fake. Go for a real company, selling them for a real price. If you do decide to go the cheaper route, don't be disappointed when you find out it's a fake. One example as to what sort of device you can use.
Note: I don't BELIEVE there are any obdII readers out there right now that support the iphone bluetooth, so any sort of reader you get HAS to be wifi. As always, elm 327 will always work.

Not a specific one, but depending on what features you want, that will depend on what app you use. If you're looking just for basic info and diagnostics, I would go with OBD Car Doctor. If you want a lot of info, A:F, short and long term fuel trims, mpg, intake/coolant temp etc, then I could recommend DashCommand. For $10, I believe it is a really good, and cheap way to do some basic car monitoring.
Those are the two that i've checked out, just go to the app store and look for obd reader.

Interesting my post didn't stick...
Anyway I don't see a tool from autozone or napa called uscan that states it is compatible with the iphone. In fact, the one that I found on napa stated that it's not even compatible with obd II code reading. So I would like to see where you got that information if you could provider it please.
