Odd-looking Staggered RPF1 Wheel Fitment
So I to purchased a set of RPF1's for my RX8. I decided to go with a staggered setup so I went with Tire Rack's recommendation for wheel and tire size.

However, after mounting the tires and test fitting them wheels it seems that the front and back wheels don't match. Is this normal for this particular fitment, does anyone else have a similar setup and does it look like this?
(Notice the spokes poking out in the front)
The other option I could see is to get a set of Enkei RPF1 18x8.5 5x114.3 40mm Offset 73mm Bore Silver Wheels for the front.

Yah, that's not too surprising. To get different widths/offsets/backspacings the designers had to change the spokes in subtle ways in order to keep the wheel structurally sound.
The bigger question is why you went with a staggered setup. It promotes understeer and limits your tire rotation options. If you go staggered with directional tires you have to remount the tires "inside out" to rotate them side to side but there's still no way to do it front to back.
