Opinion on improper installation or bad pilot bearing
So I own a 2005 RX8 which recently got a transmission rebuild and ACT ZM8-HDSS clutch kit installed all by the same mechanic less than 5k miles ago. I had the transmission again rebuilt as the shop put in a faulty input shaft bearing so technically that same transmission has been rebuilt 2x by the same shop in less than 5k miles. Now my still new pilot bearing is acting up and needs to be replaced since when I have my clucth depressed(foot to the floor) theirs a wierd squealing noise but goes away after awhile and still shifts pretty normal. Now my shop refuses to fix my pilot bearing and blames me for improper driving. I use the car as a daily for the moment as its winter however I do still push my car to the limit here and there but I do track in the spring/summer(that's why I got an upgraded clutch kit so it can handle it). Is it likely my mechanic messed up my pilot bearing when putting my transmission back a second time or is it ACT's fault even tho again it's been less than 5k miles. All opinions greatly appreciated.

I originally was going to buy an new stock kit but the price was almost the same as ACT so I said why not just buy the ACT one but yeah improper installation is what I feel like it is too thanks for the feedback

Well ACT isn't better than Exedy who makes the stock clutch. Nothing fits like OEM. But it sounds like the shop is not following the install procedure and pedal adjustment procedures in line with the factory service manual
