Guys, i have viewed this car. The interior is in good condition, Japan Spec, type E. Sadly automatic transmission. Over here, one rarely gets to meet an interior well kept as this, however the compression test is pending, which would decide if i am going for this or not. It would be a shame if the compression fails.

I wanted the car to be lifted, however time did not permit, i just took snoop. How does this fare ? Does the the air cond leak that much of water ? I have not seen such a big discharge.

The exhaust and the car it self is mostly stock, the cat has been removed though. I tried moving the shift stick if the car jerks quite a bit when the gear positions are changed, it was a very mild jerk just before it is put in D.
Took a shot while the car was being driven, please take a look. The paddle shifts work.

There seemed to be some white smoke when the accelerator was being stepped to a limit. The owner quickly shut down the engine after i mentioned about the smoke - THIS MADE ME SUSPICIOUS - However i had him step on it again much later after taking the car for a ride, there was not much smoke, just very mild, almost unseen in camera. I had to ask the owner to step on it hard, else he was not. Am i supposed to be worried ? IT ALL MOST DIDN'T start !!!

The fans seem to start blazing all of a sudden while the car was running idle. I think it was the air-condition. Please take a look, could the engine be over heating ?

Now i realise that the owner kind of did not want to switch off the air cond before starting the engine and the air cond was switched on all the time while we were taking a look at the engine. Causes me to think now if the air cond had an issue with it turning it off and then on again.



Checked the engine against the registration card - engine seems to be stock. The owner has not done any major repair on the car, except for service and this thing below which he showed me. The part which has the pink chalk mark.





The Engine bay looked normal, could not see any leaks. I can say that the engine bay was not recently cleaned . Checked the dipstick and engine cap, no signs of any white stuff. Dip stick suggests that the engine oil should be changed soon.







He says he does not believe in PREMIX !, which got me worried. The engine oil pressure seemed to be in the middle while a short drive session was done.

Any advice would be appreciated. Come on guys give me something.
