Hey guys ! Im new to the forum because I recently brought my car to get spark plugs and oil change to travel across country. Picked up my car drove it across the street and haven't been able to start it sense. Its turning over fast and trying to start, smoke coming out of muffler and lights in car turn on. Mazda Doesn't think they messed up my car and refuse to fix it. I brought it in there in top shape.
I am wondering if they could have put the spark plugs in the wrong firing order which would cause it to start the one time but not again.
Also, they put conventional oil in my car when it clearly takes synthetic since day one which i told them, and told me up and down i was wrong.
I really need help on this one guys! might be a law suit here if they don't fix it.
what are your thoughts .... mainly on the firing order thing

Mazda's position on oil is non-synthetic. They have been known to void warranties if synthetic is used in an RX-8.
How did it run when you drove it across the street? If it ran OK they didn't mess up the firing order... which would just be leading/trialing plug connections. You can visually check which wire goes where.
Was it cold when you turned it off? If so, it may just be flooded.

Also check to see if they overfilled the oil.
