OK A Proper Hello

Greetings,

I realized I jumped right into asking a question in my first post without giving a proper hello.

Therefore, "Hello!"

I own a 2006 RX8 that I bought directly from the original owner in 2008. Here is how I got the car, if you want to know I wanted an RX8 from the time I saw one for the first time, and the crazy Mazda TV commercial that shows a kid getting into the back with a huge band horn. At the time, I could not afford a brand new one. I saw one in the front yard at the bottom of the hill from the TV station where I and my late husband worked. The original owner was a married lady with five kids, three other cars, and three Harleys. She Drove the car from Tulsa to OKC and back several times a week. It had 32,000 miles on it, plus and extended warranty. She managed to have two flats with the car, and mismatched tires. That was a big red flag to me! But, I took the car to my shop, and they said compression, and everything else mechanical, and recall worthy checked out fine, but to change the tires ASAP. The car had all the recall records, and service records. It had some dents when I bought it because the original owner let her kids play around the car. I had those removed from the car at a pretty hefty price tag, she was selling it because they needed to add room to their house because their five kids were getting older, and demanding more space, and they wanted to remodel & add on instead of moving, she was also ready to sell a Harley, but at the time I was riding a VStar 1100, now I ride a 2018 Honda Rebel 500. Owning it is a little bittersweet, my mother who was in bad health when I bought the car was not happy on our last phone call together. She was really upset I bought a manual, and told me I wasn't smart enough to drive it. She died a few hours later, and I don't know if the stress of me telling her what I'd done had a part to blame, or it was just her time to go. She had major health complications due to untreated diabetes and died at 56. I almost didn't buy the car and backed out, but my late husband encouraged me to go for it, and he taught me how to drive it. I won't go into my relationship with my mom, other to say that it was toxic.

So, it's gray, not my first choice of color, but I could afford it, with every option except the built in except the GPS, which I am thankful it does not have. The Bose system is OK.

I have not done a lot of mods to it to be honest. I have kept on top of all service for it, and have a thick folder as proof.

Here is what I can think of that's been done.
Window tint - previous owner
clutch pedal recall - previous owner
Visor repair - previous owner
Fuel tank recall- Me (through dealer)
Airbag replacement - me (through dealer, and totally destroyed my dash, thanks Nelson Mazda)
Suspension replacement - Me. Suspension collapsed at the rear drivers' tire around the start of 2019
Audio system upgrade - Me back in 2015. It needs to be upgraded again to support Car Play and add a backup camera.

Right now, I'm in the process of replacing the radiator fans.

RX8 and Mazda 3 2 2022.
