Purchasing/Installing OEM Spoiler
Genuine Mazda RX 8 Rear Wing Spoiler Stormy Blue Mica Color Code 35J | eBay
My '07 didn't come with a rear spoiler, so I've decided to buy and install one myself. Couple questions though:
For the spoiler listed in the link above - does this seem like a reasonable price to be paying for a paint matched OEM spoiler, or does this seem excessively pricey/cheap?
Installation wise, how hard would it be to install myself? I took a look under my trunk, (my old GS-T had no spoiler, but if you looked, the holes to drill to install an OEM spoiler were mapped out under the trunk) but didn't see guide holes/moldings/whatever, so are they there and I just missed them, or is this a measure 37 times, drill once type procedure?
Or maybe just a link to an OEM spoiler install. I searched but couldn't find anything solid on the topic.

I would not pay that match for an oem spoiler..
the link you posted above, looks fine to me. Installation wise, shouldn't be too difficult
I remember when I took mine off it had 3 holes on each side and had double sided industrial strength tape
Browse some junkyards you may find one for less than half.
Also, check out the for sale threads, and kijiji you may find an oem spoiler for much cheaper.
Cheers,
