Quick question on inspecting ECU pins
Hey guys!
I got a quick question regarding the inspection of the ECU pins. From what I've seen, the CANbus system uses 2 pins that connects in the same module. Is there a way I could test them with a multimeter? (Sorry if it's a dumb question )
I'll try to send a picture of the pins I'm trying to inspect so it's easier to understand.
Thanks1

I've noticed that the modules connected with those pins give me codes telling me there's a communication error between them and the ECU. So, when it happens again, I wanna check if the ECU is fine

You can get a lot of U**** codes that are basically meaningless. They happen a lot with aftermarket scanners that the ECU doesn't like. If you are getting an actual error you will get a proper code for the module that you are looking for.
Most of the time you can completely ignore them
