Radiator fan(s) replacement

Radiator fan(s) replacement

Well, I decided to start digging into the cars problems. (2006 34K )
Removed the battery and battery bracket, the Air filter assembly and base to replace the plug coils
but found that the left fan is frozen. It look like that I have to remove the ECU assembly and the
coolant over flow tank (will replace this too) as well. Looking at the situation, it looks like I can replace the fans after I
get all the wires and hoses out of the way. That is, do I have to remove the radiator to
replace the fans. As in, fans come out without touching the radiator.
Is that right ??? Been looking on the site, but I can not find this info..

oem fans are to big to take out from the top. it's easiest to just drop the rad and fans together out the bottom

Definitely easier to just drop the entire rad out the bottom. Just go slow and use a bunch on penetrant. Some of those bolts can get pretty crusty.
