There is not anyone locally in the business of rebuilding engines. Well not anyone good anyhow. Your best bet is to send it off to one of the better reputable builders. Pineapple Racing in Oregon built mine but it depends on your budget, skills, and goals. I pulled mine, sent it to them and had it back in a few weeks, smooth experience.
Mazda remans are hit or miss in terms of reliability and a couple of us locals have had less than desirable results. My Pineapple build has been turbocharged since 2011 and has near 35,000 miles now and is doing well.
If you want a reasonably priced rebuild then Rotary Resurrection in TN is good.

I know they sell low priced rebuilds. I have heard some good things and nothing bad, but the low price indicates to me that they may not do the most thorough builds. But for the price, you can't expect a rebuild that covers everything.
