Replace Bushings or mounts?
Hey guys,
I am in the middle of a long rebuild of my RX8 and I wanted to know if replacing the bushings and mounts with solid or aftermarket units is advisable?
This is a track focused build so I am not worried about noise or comfort.
Are their any track guys here that have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Basedon my reading of various threads in the competition forum, the OE suspension mounts are actually pretty good. Switching to polyurethane will be a step back but delrin will stiffen things up at the cost of NVH.
Delrin differential bushings should reduce wheel hop during launches.

I drove on poly front UCA/LCA bushings for a couple of years. The first track day with them I felt a marginal improvement in steering feel during sustained turns, but there is a big placebo factor with that. I'm sure that given 2 cars I wouldn't be able to tell which has poly. I don't think it was worth the effort of installing them, which on 10 year old LCA's was a pain in the butt.
And now the LCAs are back to stock thanks to the LCA recall.
