I don't have an 8 yet but after doing some research I'm leaning toward this model from racing beat.

I've read a lot of people get the check engine light while a few lucky ones don't. How do you plan to deal with that? I'm in NJ and can't pass inspection with a cel on. I suppose I'll have to pay a tuner to delete that out.

The Racing Beat midpipe should be a good one. Most RB parts for are car are mild in nature. There are lots of others available.
Near the top of the page, there is a toolbar with a link to our site vendors, you should check them out to see what they offer too. When you find one that interests you, search the site for others opinions on them.
A basic midpipe is just a tube that bolts in place of the catalytic converter. Additions would include resonators like the RB midpipe. Some midpipes will be louder than others. If your in an area that test the car for emissions, a midpipe may not be the best idea.
