Retrofit navigation buttons

Hello. I'm trying to retrofit the navigation buttons that are located below the gear lever. I have bought the buttons. Can I just cut the area of the panel where the buttons go and insert it? Or do I need a panel that has been designed for it to insert the buttons?

Thank you so much.

I cut holes for my seat warmers. There were actually spots markes on the back side of the center piece. Don't remember if there was another spot for the nav, but i bet you could cut it out just the same. The seat buttons were keyed and snapped right into place. Good luck

That's great news! I will check if there are provisions for it. How did you cut the plastic?

Check the DIY section. I've seen a few modified console for certain applications.

The most common tool used is a drill and dremel. Don't forget to use sandpaper!
