Rought Steering Wheel
Hello,
I need HELP!!!
Steering wheel is very rough when turning both left and right. I have too use both hands just to turn the wheel. I know RX8 don't take any power steering fluid. So I tried this method I put wd-40 on the steering it self and just like that it started working. I had no trouble with steering wheel being rough. BUT UNFORTUNATELY! That didn't last so long. I had stoped at the gas station to put some gas as I was running low. When I got back into my car I turned it back on tried turning the steering wheel AND Thier it was again THE STEERING WHEEL BEING ROUGH.
Please let me know what I should do or what could be the cause of this problem.

Power steering failure is very common in RX-8s.
It is usually due to a poor connection on the CAN connections between the rack and the steering controller. It is usually the connector where the radiator overflow dumps on top of it
