RX8 6 Speed New Exedy Clutch, pedal hits the floor.
Hi,
I have just replaced my worn-out clutch with an Exedy Clutch kit from Racingbeateurope, All of the hydraulics, slave, and master working perfectly with no leaks or air in the system. When pressing the clutch pedal it hits the floor with a small amount of resistance at the end. As the pedal is depressed observing the clutch release cylinder the rod extends but appears to be now too short and engages the release arm when the pedal is nearly on the floor.
Is this a case of adjusting the pedal or is the clutch stack shorter causing the release arm to have to travel further to release the clutch and cannot be adjusted by the pedal?
Please help as my RX8 has been off the road for 4 months now trying to change the clutch (an hour here and there at the weekends)
