RX8 Clutch Replacement Problem
Hi this is my first post here, I hope I'm in the right thread.
I have a 2005 5 Speed JDM RX8 and I accidentally bought a 6 speed clutch for it (clutch plate and pressure plate).
Is it possible to buy a 6 speed flywheel and fit it into the 5 speed box?
This is the one that I want to buy:

I can get a new 5 speed clutch but that would cost a lot more than just buying a 6 speed flywheel.

I have a 5 speed RX8 transmission mated to an REW FD RX7 engine with a clutch and flywheel from a FC RX7...and it all works 😁 the counter weight has to match the engine though..

Yeah they are a different size (clutch plates). The clutch for the 5 speed is 225millimeter, the one for the 6 speed is 240mm.
The flywheel is the same size but the bolts are father apart allowing a bigger clutch plate to be placed on it.
