you need to get a scanner and read the codes. flashing light means misfire.
when the seller tells you "it just needs x" (and it is always something cheap and easy to replace) it often turns out to be something completely different and more serious.

1. Flashing CEL is ALWAYS a misfire
2. did you do the 20 brake stomp after you put in the new crank position sensor?
3. give us more info on the cars mods/maintenance history, are you catless? which fuel pump?
4. I could be a flooded engine(bad for the cat if you have it)
5. If you have not done so read the new owners thread, then read it about 12 more times No, really read this!

Please make sentences. People can't help if they can't understand what you're saying.
Are you saying it flashes while you crank or after you stop? If you stay in ON long enough without the engine turning on, it will flash. That by itself isn't an indicator. If it flashes while running, that's a misfire.
Are you saying it ran after the coil/plug install but then stopped,, or it never ran?
Are the spark plugs wired to the correct spark plugs? It's an easy mistake to make. You can google for correct wire routing.
