RX8 Key / Immobiliser issue

Hi there, looking for help as I am generally clueless with car, and would happily help anyone with legal/contractual issues in exchange.

I have this RX8, 192BHP, 2004, Manual.

I left it too long over winter and when I went to start the battery was dead, so I charged the battery and put it back in again. Meanwhile the key fob battery died. So can only open car by key itself.

When I turn key over the dials on speedo go over to the end and back again, and there is no clicking or other action in car at all, the warning light are flashing, so I presume the immobiliser is set off.

So I change the battery in the fobs and no change. I have seen how to reset the fobs on youtube but I think the immobiliser is stopping anything.

Help !!!!!

'04 keyfobs going bad is common, happened to me.
The most common remedy is to get a switchblade keyfob, around $80.
There are a couple of helpful threads with the correct FCC and model #s.
I'm not as familiar with the immobilizer issue you have, I have found an immobilizer system troubleshooting procedure, but I don't remember where.
You should be able to find some helpful threads with some key phrase searches.
Good luck!
