Rx8, relays wont click on, no dash lights, turn signals and hazards wont work.
Literally drove the car today, few hours later I get in to start it, I turn the key. Nothing, no dash lights except for the door open and the car with key flashing light. My hazards also wont turn on. This has happened with my car at seemingly random times, and goes away randomly as well.
Battery is brand new, check voltage, good. All fuses and relays are fresh and checked.
Problem seems to go away by itself from it just sitting there, but its been an hour this time and wont fix itself.
I've looked all over the internet, I cant find a solution for this one.

Cleaned terminals with wd40 and made sure they were very very snug, just about 10 mins ago. Still nothing. I checked the battery wire to make sure i was getting power too, I am. Also, thank you for your reply and time.

Quick clarification, The only things that turn on are my interior lights, the chime for when the key is inserted, the door ajar light, the car with key security light.
Radio and windows/sunroof do not work.
Trunk button works, the locks work, the interior light buttons work.

Fixed
Problem fixed. The 120 volt main fuse had started arcing from poor connection, resulting in carbon building up on the contacts and only a small bit of power going through.
The reason this wasn't my first thought to check is because the 120v main fuse when blown completely does not power the chime or interior lights.
Sanded all the contacts and re-bolted down tight. Car is back to normal.

Good to hear - good reminder for me to check the fuse connection condition.

Glad to hear that you got it fixed. My first thought was that the ignition switch was failing. I would not have thought to look at the 120V main fuse as having corrosion. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the reply.
The fuse has caused issues in the past, That is literally my only reason I thought to look there. My cars wiring is very finicky.

The actual issue was the bolts for the 120v main fuze was loose and it started to arc. It actually seems to have charred my fuzebox as well. The source of the issue is the bolts not being tight or coming lose.
