Hey guys got a right hand drive RX8 so the starter motor is under the passenger side and I’ve jacked the car up and removed this bar that was in the way. But now I’m stuck on how to get the starter out as there is an oil pump pipe by the looks of things right where I need to take it out.

I didn’t think I’d come across this problem cause all the American left hand drive starters motor tutorials and other Rx8 forums didn’t say there would be anything in the way to make it difficult for a starter motor replacement.

Would appreciate advice as the only possible solution I have is removing the engine which I don’t have the tools for.

Can you post a picture? I don't recall ever seeing a bar. It should literally be just 3 bolts holding it in.

That's an auto transmission car and starter... so it should fit

The lines are the cooler lines for the transmission...likely just loosen the braackets and move them aside
