Rx8 straight pipe

Heyo, haven't posted in awhile. Not a question or anything just some entertainment food 4 thought I guess. My friend straight piped his 15 camaro ss 1le. The thing is obnoxiously loud. He dds it. He kept bragging about it and after an uphill pull with him in the same lane in front of me and nearly going deaf, I decided it was my turn. Bought a $80 manual cutout and welded it so it was centered coming out of the bend right before the muffler. No block, straight through. Wasn't bout to mess around with that nasty exhaust leak sounding cut outs that taper off instead of being centered. The sound... omg the sound... her idle is SIGNIFICANTLY louder then his camaro. Love it. Rev up the engine and you know I'm coming from miles away. Perfect. Called him up to go for a drive away from city, once out of town, put in my ear plugs and let her run! He rolled up his windows and stayed wayyyy back. Job well done. Rotary 4 life. A nice touch is its not to bad at low rpms, cruising like a sane person the car sounds very raw and like it wants to kill you... in a good way. I notice a significant decrease in crowd killers (mustangs) swarming in my area. All was good until the 1000hp murdered out ctsv started showing back up. He only comes out at night. Truthfully a scary car to pull up next to. Exhaust block back on. Only comes off when we go to car meets. Ricers love that ****. Gets respect tho, doesn't sound bad thankfully. Ps. My 8 isn't a dd.

To each his own, but DD or not, I don't prefer excessive loudness. This is also why I went with an actual vendor combo too - TurboXS catback and BHR midpipe - to me it's everything I need. A beautifully deep and refined exhaust note, the perfect volume, no CEL, no smells, and most importantly, no police interference. I would just be careful with the last one.

I mean... It'll make noise. I had the BHR Resonated pipe which made it not raspy, and the HKS Hi-Power which was a single can... It's lighter with that combo and oh man does it sound good... especially in tunnels but I'm not gonna lie, it's damnably loud. MANNNNNYYY decibels loud. Wife hated it loud. I'd have to coast or stay under 2k in neighborhoods not to attract attention. The sound quality was great, and especially at 8K+ where it sounded like a wailing F1 car.

She doesn't stay like that. Only occasionally comes off when we're out of the city driving together. $80 to shut him up was money well spent anyone know anyone selling a rew swapped 8? Getting mine done and now my frieND wants 1

Sadly he already sold it. We were ready to swoop it up on the spot
