Don't use Sea Foam or CC cleaner, they are pointless. Just put some Techron in your tank a couple times a year and go about your business.

Interesting... haven't heard anyone else talk about using Techron instead. Can you elaborate a bit on why you say Sea Foam and CC cleaner are pointless, as opposed to Techron?

Thanks!

If you have carbon build up sea foam or cc cleaner will do nothing to remove it (there is a thread by RIWWP with some testing on this using a camera) and anyone (well anyone worth listening too) who has ever rebuilt a Renesis with any decent amount of miles, will tell you this.

As for Techron as a fuel system cleaner, it's just been the best you can get for the past 20+ years.
