seafoam good way to clean out carbon?

Before and after pics of the rotors using a borescope, and using several methods of decarbing. I recommend reading the whole thread.

You will notice in the tests that 99 cents per gallon distilled water was approximately as effective as $8 per 8oz seafoam, and neither was remarkable in it's ability to strip carbon around the seals. Both did fine stripping carbon from the rotor faces, but that isn't where we have carbon caking problems.

I seafoamed my fiance's RX8. It seemed like it worked well on her car. Idle seemed a bit more stable after I did it.
Her car has 116K miles and I seafoamed it probably 3K miles ago right before I did an oil change.
Just a side note, seafoam BEFORE you need to do an oil change. It ruins the oil inside the engine.
