Series 1?

After doing some reading I think that I have a series 1 RX8 but not completely sure. It's a 2004. Does the year determine the series or the package and upgrades?

Yes it does series but not upgrades and you have a S1 8. There is a VIN decoder at the top of the page to tell you exactly what you have.

Yes. Series 1. 2009-2011 are series 2. The year determines it.
