Glad you are entertained. In your experience I'm sure they last forever.

I mean, the more scientific way would be test them every 5k miles or so with a spark tester. Even then, we really don't have enough sample size to draw a reliable conclusion. No one drives their car the same way so that's another problem.

The 30k-mile rule is from the earlier coils and when the neglect can result in a fire(with a cat), yeah people are gonna be on the more cautionary side of things...

I don't get it. Why are you always such a major ***? Did you have trouble getting along with other children growing up? Maybe you need a time out.

because I’m not here to coddle anyone or swoon anyone into elevating me up on a pedestal or pump anyone up on something to set it up when I’m ready to sell like a lot of other people that have come and gone over many years. I cut to the chase and give it to people straight. You’re new, but I’ve been through this over and over again on most of these subjects with both new and the same old members. Again, it’s just people spouting off inaccurately about things they 100% know about that they really don’t. There’s no pretense with me; what you see is what you get. Excuse me while I go vomit after going on about myself for an entire paragraph. Because I also don’t either glory in or revel over that like some people either, but you seem to have a great need here. Which I do sincerely take pleasure in assisting others.

Though maybe you’re not as good of a judge on either character or not always assuming things in the worst possible negative sense as you think you are, but to be fair I struggle there sometimes too. So overall that’s nothing new under the sun either. Which as I originally pointed out to you; we have dedicated forum subject areas on here for a reason. So why do you continue ignoring the obvious and keep obsessively insisting on resisting and fighting against that intention? There’s a ton of information on here since 2003 and most of it isn’t in the general discussion and noob playpen areas.

If you want to get into the engineering talk...

There is not much info on Revision C specifically, though. There just aren't enough examples for anyone to agree on a set interval for Revision C specifically. Until then it's pretty much just guessing with past experience, which may or may not be the most optimal.

It's not just car forums, even some mobile equipment has to deal with an educated guess if there are not enough failure/suspension points to go off of.

If we can get enough data points together, I can probably run a Weibull analysis on it, LOL. Then we can at least agree on something. That assumes that someone actually has the guts to run them to complete failures, though.

Unbelievable. You really do need a time out. You have no clue as to how ridiculous you sound with that last rant. I'm sorry Team X, you really have some issues.

Do you even realize that this is a revitalized thread from a few years ago? It was there, so I asked the question as I pointed out there are no threads that I searched that could give me a definitive answer.

No one is asking for coddling. If a question mess's your head up that much, ignore it , and let us inferiors work it out. We will get it right eventually.

I dont hate on the guy. Hes earned his ability to be a jaded cynic. If you read through the history of this forum, he has contributed a lot. I would caution new members to judge him if you look at the information he has given that helps everyone.
