Series 2 Shocks on Series 1 RX8

Hi guys, I have a question, I recently bought 4 new shocks for a bargain but they are for the Series 2 RX8. Partnumbers: front F189-34-700 and rear F189-28-700

I was wondering if I can fit them on my series 1 RX8 or will that cause problems or a lower/higher ride height? I tried to search for the answer but I couldn't find anything!

Thanks in advance!

Only if you use S2 springs. Rear perch locations are different.

That’s a shame! Will it make the ride lower or higher or is it just impossible?

Higher. Finding S2 rear springs at a junkyard or ebay should be easy enough?

I live in The Netherlands and the S2 hasn't been sold there so there will not be any at the junkyards, I also checked eBay but I couldn't find any!

I guess I will just sell them on eBay and buy new S1 shocks, I can choose between KYB, Sachs, Monroe and Bilstein, with the Billstein being the most expensive with 140 euro each, any advice?
