service/maintenance
hi guys!
Can anyone help please ?! I just bought a rx8. my chassis no. is SE3P-128824. How do i service/maintain this car? I heard the Rotary Wankel has a very short life, how do i maintain it so that my engine and electrics have a good lifespan? btw the fuel is not that good.

Life After 8K RPM....
I know you have already been told to read the New owners thread..
A few things to do.
* get a compression test done to determine engines current health
* find out how old are your ignition parts (plugs, coils, wires) if unsure replace them asap
* run premium gas only, you can get by with regular 87 octane but it will hurt
* replace your engine oil, tranny and diff fluids, have your radiator flushed,
* check your engine oil every 2 weeks to be on safe side and top it off as needed.
* ENJOY YOUR REWARD...RED LINE ONCE OR TWICE A DAY ATLEAST ;-)
Let the car warm up before your drive or shut it off yes even in summer.
Try to get a SOHN adapter, meanwhile pre-mix
READ THE NEW OWNERS THREAD FOR SURE
hope this helps..
