Should I buy?
Been looking into the Rx-8 for quite a while now because they're such interesting vehicles and I feel like it would be a blast to drive. I just want to know if since they don't make em anymore will finding parts in the event its not running right be a hassle or expensive? Also, how much should I realistically be looking to spend for a 2009-2011 GT or R3 with less than 60,000 Mi?

1) Parts will be available for a long time
2) As for price, we don't even know where you are in the world to know what currency to frame a the answer in, much less your local market conditions, availability of cars, local bias, etc...

Ok thats what I've been doing. They seem to go for around $15,000-17,000 from what Ive seen there but i think i could get a better deal. I dont plan on buying for a little while still. Just figured Id ask here and see if anyone knew of a better site to look that maybe everyone doesnt know about. Regardless, thanks for your input i appreciate it

Parts are available all over the internet. There are many rotary websites with a ton of inventory for rx8's. The only thing you may have trouble with is finding someone local to work on it, but there is alot of info on this site to assist you to do it yourself

I recently bought an 09 MT GT, ~60,000 miles certified preowned. The car itself was $14,500, with tax/title/licensing fees, it came to $15,850. They also did the compression test for me since I asked. I found my car on autotrader.
Also, I bought the car in Ft. Worth. There were two others available, one north of Dallas at a Lexus dealer that was really marked up (~$16,500 if I remember correctly), and a second at I wanna say a Mitsu dealership with ~44k miles and bunch of aftermarket mods listed at ~$15,500. I never saw the one at Lexus and I walked away from the modded one. Both were also that boring grey lol.
Good luck with your search!!
