Hi All, new here ... hopefully I can get some feedback . I'm restoring a hit to my front end 2005 RX8 GT, w/ new Bumper, Rad, Condenser, etc . and wanting to swap out old rubber Radiator hoses with new Silicone ones . Having a BIG problem because, the fittings on my Rad, Water Pump, etc . are all 1-1/2" outer diameter and 1 5/16" inner . So far, and I'm sending back a set today, every vendor I've contacted tells me, the inner diameter of the Silicone hoses is only 1 1/4", And I've checked many from budget to racing performance,,, This is an impossible task, fitting 1 1/4" over a 1 1/2" flange . HAS ANYONE RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM? All my parts are currently stock, or OEM compliant (e.g. new Koya Rad) . But hoses won't go over either ... If anyone has a solution, i.e. Hoses that fit - much appreciated!!!

Get new hoses from Mazda. Silicon is not necessary an upgrade and it sounds like someone goofed up the kit you received.

did you not get some chinese magic lube to go with your chinese hoses?

I've installed these kits before and it should fit perfectly. Haven't had this issue fortunately.
