slow crank no start

I have been working on this car for months and it was getting better and better then out of the blue it stopped while driving. wouldnt even crank . well i had it towed to my home and its been sitting for two weeks really weak crank but no start. i fidle with it almost every day research and follow some of the threads on here. i live in a mild most days cold some and i decided to get a new starter 2kw and a new battery 800cca and its for hot and cold weather. well moment of truth came and its cranked but no start. I started to do the flooding technic but my friend said the belts smell like there gonna melt. i had pulled the fuel fuse i took off just one plug and there was no fuel on it not wet.. it was looking like oil but not wet and the plugs are only 2weeks old and there still clean except if they where in for another month im sure it would be black. Its a 2005 A/T 91000miles its midpiped ..after it passed inspection that was done and psi is 110-120.
I am gonna try a spark test tomorrow and my fuel pump primes but maybe its not getting fuel. any input or path i would love to hear. also i checked all fuses and there all ok....thank you
oh ive did new coils and plugs and wires, new filter new MAF,new sas and solinoid,a new fuel pump and relay,i use premium octane and premix. it was doing good..then boom.

It sounds like it flooded from the weak cranking, and needs to be deflooded properly. I don't know what belts have to do with it, they spin whenever the engine runs. Is it possible an accessory or pulley is seized? What smell is it exactly?

What was compression tested with? 110-120 psi is decent if all 6 faces show that. At what rpm is that?

im trying to look up if there is a different way an A/T should be deflooded...I am hooked up to a charger with outlet to battery. You are right i didnt smell anything but he had his head in the engine. Ill redo tomorrow for sure then.

Midas probably doesn't have the equipment to test a rotary properly, but what that tells you is your highest face of 3 on each rotor is that psi. Others could be lower. But, for 215 rpm that's not bad at all.

Deflooding is the same regardless of transmission. Gas pedal to the floor, crank for 5 ish seconds, release, wait 30 seconds, repeat. After you've done that 5-6 times do it again but slowly let off the pedal while you crank. If it sounds like it's catching, you're on the right track, keep doing that. It takes longer than you would think.

I'd check all fuses as well, just in case. Under the hood and in the driver's footwell. Given that it suddenly stopped, that's a possible alternative.

Hey wanted to say thank you;. I called mides and asked for my compression numbers well you are correct they are not equiped to do rotary and they refunded me. I also started the deflood method and it started to catch. I will do later this morning and stay at it. Thank you

It will be difficult to identify a malfunction problem here since all the components are new. But since you said that the ignition coils looked like oil, I advise you to replace the coils. this is a common problem, I buy coils the best coils for 5.3 vortec, a very reliable manufacturer. I also take oils here

For what it is worth the last time i was flooded i had no joy with the normal deflooding routinne. Took it to my mechanic and he found the air filter was nearly plugged. Trying to get into the Roar Before the 24 had to wait in line in a field outside Daytona Speedway for an hour - idling.
