smart key entry system

Hey everyone,

How do I tell if I have a smart key entry system? I just have a stub for a key...literally just the metal part. My radio doesn't work so I can't check the id from that either.

Thanks,
Hyde

IIRC the smart key is a credit card unit. The key is tucked inside this card. I think they come with high spec versions. Alternately would be the switchblade type.
Also the doors have a nub that you press to lock/unlock the car.

If the nub is indicative of the smart key (meaning the non-smart key cars don't have it), then that's probably what you're looking for as the most readily visible indicator. It's a little black rubber button on the fixed part of the door handles. I only have experience with my own, and it's a smart key car.
