Don't even get me started on my cracked to **** passenger side dash covering the airbag after they replaced it or my scratched to **** shifter ****. 2008 car has 24k miles on it. Interior looks like *** now.

UV and heat/cool cycles makes the plastic brittle. When they remove the panel, the small (or maybe large?) amount of flexing involved causes the weaker plastic at the airbag's engineered failure point to fail.

Am I the only one with an 04 that has a near mint interior. I mean it's not perfect but pretty close. My shifter has a bit of wear on the grey part and there is one tiny burn on one of the back seats. Oh and driver side floor mat has wear marks by the clutch and gas pedals.

Possibly just about every 04 I see has a cracked passenger air bag cover

My 05 is perfect. Spending most of it’s non-driven life in a garage makes a difference.

Generally speaking, people who can’t even write a few basic sentences without dropping expletives continuously generally displays spiritual immaturity. When you get your spirit straight your mind follows and this kind of petty stuff will roll off your back like water on a duck rather than drag you down in miserable drudgery.

That's better than Caymans. No offence buddy. I'd rip that panel off and have nothing there at all haha. Or go sticker crazy.

I'm planning on sanding it down, bondo all the cracks and carbon fibre wrap it or paint it. Im not paying $300 for a new one that's also just gonna crack over time. Parts for this car are outrageously priced. Mazda seems to think they are Mercedes...
