FWIW, 04-GT, with 65k miles, bone stock at this point, still, and my daily driver.

Runs great, and I'm getting 18~20MPG on average. AC sucks but it is what it is. I tried the reset the AC thing in the other thread but it doesn't seem to like that, I never get the defrost light to flash confirming the change.

Anyway, I got the service history from the dealer today and I'm not sure what some of these things are:



I called Mazda NA and they said the car was current on all recalls, and what not.

Anyone care to decipher the right column descriptions and clue me in to what was fixed/changed/addressed?

I don't believe this car ever had a motor RnR'd, and it runs just fine. I do know the previous owner replaced (1) coil, and put plugs in it, but that's it.

Assumptions to get you thinking:

ARM(R),Lower - Lower control arm replaced
PEDAL,CLUTCH - Clutch pedal welds were weak, they replaced the assembly
ENGINE,SHORT - Looks like an engine replacement (short block)
KIT,CATALYTIC - Cat was replaced
MSP16 - Latest ECU flash
LEVER,PARKING BRAKE - PArking brake handle "tongue" would tear on older models, probably replaced

I wondered that on the Engine, Short too but I'm not 100% sure. Anyone know what the 'C' stands for in 3rd column?

Also wonder what the 1's and 0's in the 6th column mean.

It's obviously out of warranty by this stage, age wise... Kind of curious if that was an engine swap for sure, maybe I'll call them and ask tomorrow.

Is BRACKET, INSULAT : Motor mount?

Wonder what MODULE, POWERTR is.
