Some thing is wrong with my clutch!

I put a new engine in my 04 mazda rx 8 and when the car is wormed up the clutch will not work but when the car is cold the clutch will work fine. It has a good clutch in the car now but the old engine had a really bad clutch I bought it broke so i don't know what they did with the clutch. maybe the slave is bad but it could all so be the stock clutch line i don't know what it is plz help. ps it's not the clutch pedal bracket.

It will not go in to gear easily when it is hot and when you try to put it in to gear the car will crawl forward slowly but it is not in gear. and if you try to start the car in gear the car will crawl forward when the clutch is pushed all the way in.

I would say your clutch pedal needs to be adjusted, it's not disengaging fully. And when it's cold it doesn't do this? It could also be a hydraulic problem starting with air in the clutch line, but neither of those would only manifest when warm, it would happen all the time.

yea i was going to try to adjusting it i have a question i take it that i adjust it when the car is running and warmed up right
